“From the moment that you lose your health, it is too late. Health brings a freedom very few realize, until they no longer have it.”

Social connection is a fundamental human need that is as important for our long-term survival as food and water. Unfortunately, in recent times, our society has become increasingly isolated, and loneliness has become a major public health concern.

According to research, loneliness is more widespread than other major health issues in the U.S. This epidemic of loneliness and isolation can have severe consequences, including depression, anxiety, and even physical health problems. It is important, therefore, that we recognize the value of social connection and make an effort to stay connected with others. By doing so, we can improve our overall well-being and lead happier, more fulfilling lives. This is what the Bike and Paddle Club offers

Looking for a community of outdoor enthusiasts who share your passion for adventure and environmental stewardship?

Welcome to the Bike and Paddle Club! We are a social/recreational group that aims to bring people together through biking and paddling activities while addressing important environmental topics. The club provides a welcoming and inclusive environment for all abilities and ages, and we encourage community involvement through social networking and weekly meet and greet events.

Whether you're an experienced cyclist or a beginner paddler, there is something for everyone. Weekly bike, paddle, and hiking trips, as well as weekend getaways to explore new destinations. And for those who love a little friendly competition, we have Bike and Paddle Scramble Races and Time Trials.

We are committed to doing our part against climate change by hosting monthly climate cafes, climate rides, and our special promotion Stand Up to Plastic Pollution.

As you may know, the transportation sector generates the largest share of greenhouse gas emissions, primarily coming from cars and trucks. Our BIKE SATURDAYS promotion addresses those issues by encouraging people to get out of their cars and onto their bikes.

As a member, you'll receive free weekly email newsletters, invitations to our Spring & Fall Bike and Paddle Expos, and access to our networking meet and greet mixers.

Don't miss out on the adventure - join the Bike and Paddle Club today and experience all we have to offer! Then scroll down to view upcoming events and the gallery.
