Mountain Bike or Hike Lion Mtn Trailhead, Whitefish

Lion Mountain Trail is one of the most popular trails in the Flathead Valley for both hiking and biking. It's a 2.6-mile flowy trail with a great overlook view of Skyles Lake. Parking is cramped, but if you're biking I suggest parking at the Grouse Mountain parking lot or at the tennis court parking lot across the street from the lodge and ride to the trailhead.
